Day1

Finally it was so far we go to London. But first I had to pack my bag on Monday morning. At 12.10 hour we had to be at school. After sitting two and a half hour in the buss we were at Hoek van Holland. Half an hour before the boot leaves. After the passport and ticket check and some more waiting we came at the boat. It was I huge boat there was a chop, a cinema, a little disco, some bars/restaurants. The weather was a bit stormy and you could get seasick pills for free. At 19.30 (English time) we arrived in Harwich. After that we had to go to London by buss. About 23.00 we were in Harrow a suburb of London. There the people of the host families came to pick us up. The lady we were sleeping with lived at walking distance from the city centre (the meeting point). After a cup of thee we went upstairs and about half past one we went to sleep.

After we had seen the curch we went to the water and made a little boat tour from the London-Eye to the Tower Bridge. It was a nice trip and we all sit on the roof of the boat so we had a good view. About four o’clock we were free to walk around for an hour. It was a little bit cold so Nathalie and I went to the Mc Donald’s to eat something warms. Day 3

At nine o’clock we had to be at the metro station Harrow on the Hill. This time the lady woke us up at quarter past seven, because we were a bit late yesterday and it was longer walking to the metro station. So after our breakfast the lady brought us to the station, we went along a short cut. With the metro and a little walk we came by the Imperial war museum, look in the report for more information. At half past eleven we had to be before the museum. After that we should go to the Tate Modern museum, but two girls were lost and when we found theme back it was too late to go there. So we went to the museums we had chosen ourselves, you could choose out of the Victoria and Albert museum, the Science museum and the National History museum. I went to the last one. It was a very nice museum and there was a lot to see, but we hadn’t enough time to see everything only two hours. But we had seen the most of it. We had to be before the National History museum and there the person who has been to the other museum was there also. Then we went to Harrows, it was a very big department store but everything was very expensive. After half an hour we had to be by the metro station next to Harrow and we went back to Harrow-on-the-Hill. At half past eight we were back at our host family. This time we went to sleep at 12 o’clock (after an airplane meal).

Day 4

Again we had to be at nine o’clock by Harrow-on-the-Hill. From there we walked to Harrow school. It was a boarding-school, but only for boys. We got an guided tour along the school, there own church, the swimming pool, the sport fields and the little museum were you could buy a souvenir. The boy’s had to wear an uniform with a straw-hat, which looked very funny. When the guided tour was finished we walked back to the metro station and went with the metro to the theater we will see a musical tonight. After that we were free to walk around in London till half past seven. First Mariëtte, Nathalie and I went to Camden Town there we all brought a souvenir for our dads and some jewelries for ourselves. After eating something in the Mc Donald’s (I had an ice-cream) Natalie went somewhere with Loren, Mariëtte and I went to the British museum. First we visit a souvenir shop and then we went in the British museum. But there was a very irritating sound and when we wanted to go to the toilet everybody had to go outside, cause that sound was an alarm. We didn’t know what to do now so we went to the National Gallery, cause Nathalie and Lorena said they would go there so maybe they knew something to do. We looked around in the National Gallery till it closed and than we made some pictures of the square with the huge lions. But it was raining and we wanted to go inside somewhere so we made a trip with the metro, the circle line. It was warm and dry in the metro, we were a bit late before the theatre. But every one was still standing there. The musical was named Stomp and it was very nice. They made music with daily thing and it sounds very good. After the play we went back to the metro station and from there to Harrow-on-the-Hill. Some teachers brought us home cause it was already half past ten and the old lady we were with don’t liked it to walk alone to Harrow-on-the-Hill so late. This time I slept at one o’clock after I had packed my bag.

Our last day in London, and we had to be at the city centre at 7 o’clock! So the lady woke us up at half past fife! We had packed our stuff yesterday already so we hadn’t had to do this now. The busses were there already when we arrived at the city centre after saying good bye to the lady and dump our bags in the buss we left London. We sit a long time in the buss before we were at the port. There we checked in and wait till we went on the boat. There was a really stormy wind, and at the half of our trip the waves were two and a half till three meters high. In the bars there felt some glasses. In the buss back to school we looked two films Mr. and Mrs. smith and Shall we dance. They were both very nice films. And than we were back at school after a great week in London.
